Formed as a community group in May 2015, Visit Kelso aims to proactively market and promote the town of Kelso and the surrounding areas, to both locals and visitors to The Scottish Borders.

Members of Visit Kelso are local business owners, who carry out the majority of the work on a voluntary basis. Happy to do so, knowing that by being part of the group they benefit greatly from the additional energy and effort put into promoting the town.

Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Borders is one of 21 Regional Groups across Scotland set up to bridge the gap between education and the world of work. Established in January 2017 they are an industry-led group with representation from key sectors and work in close partnership with Scottish Borders Council Education Department and Borders College. Based at Ettrick Riverside in Selkirk the team of 3 encourage all businesses, regardless of size or sector, to get involved. Working with young people from age 3 to 24 their aim is to strengthen links between business and education to help young people be more work-ready and aware of the opportunities and pathways available to them.
Ride Scottish Borders is another project managed by The Southern Uplands Partnership - the project is promoting sustainable equestrian tourism in the Scottish Borders by working with a wide range of existing equestrian related businesses and encourage the development of new businesses, helping them to grow, work together, and develop products that both help them and strengthen the wider Borders economy

MBTAG – Midlothian & Borders Tourism Action Group
MBTAG was set up in January 2017 following funding from Scottish Enterprise Tourism Development Fund and the Scottish Government Blueprint. Following the success of the ‘Borders Railway’, which opened in September 2015. Phase 1 of MBTAG delivered events, opportunities and tools for the tourism industry.
